Phasmophobia Brings Back Cursed Hollow Seasonal Event
Runs March 31 to April 21

Phasmophobia’s annual limited-time Easter event, Cursed Hollow, returns March 31 and runs through April 21, Kinetic Games announced on March 24. The three-week event marks Phasmophobia’s first seasonal event of the year, featuring rotating maps, community goals, and encounters with Forest Minions.
During the event, certain maps in the game will be temporarily updated with Cursed Hollow visuals and themed elements, with different locations featured each day. Some of these locations have also been updated since the previous Cursed Hollow event, including 6 Tanglewood Drive and Grafton Farmhouse, while Nell’s Diner was added as a new map.

The complete list of locations that will be featured in the event includes:
⚫︎ 6 Tanglewood Drive
⚫︎ 13 Willow Street
⚫︎ 42 Edgefield Road
⚫︎ 10 Ridgeview Court
⚫︎ Nell’s Diner
⚫︎ Grafton Farmhouse
⚫︎ Bleasdale Farmhouse
⚫︎ Camp Woodwind
⚫︎ Maple Lodge Campsite
CEO and Game Director Dan Knight said the community response to last year’s Cursed Hollow "was great," adding that the team is "excited to welcome back the Forest Spirits this Easter."
What Lurks in the Cursed Hollow
The event brings back the Forest Spirit, a special ghost variant with antler-like features that appears on selected maps during the event. While it behaves similarly to a normal ghost, its activity can change depending on how players interact with Forest Minions.

The Forest Spirit’s minions, aptly called Forest Minions, are hidden across each map, often found within nests. Players must use the correct ghost-hunting equipment to reveal them. Revealing a Minion can trigger different effects that either help or disrupt a run, such as altering sanity levels. These encounters can also increase ghost activity while contributing points toward both personal and community rewards.
Ghost Hunters will be able to unlock rewards by completing both Community and Personal Goals during the event. These include event-themed ID cards, badges, and a trophy. These rewards are primarily cosmetic, allowing players to showcase their participation and completion of event challenges.

First introduced in 2025, Cursed Hollow is one of Phasmophobia’s recurring seasonal events alongside Crimson Eye and Winter’s Jest. Its return follows the rework of two locations and the addition of a new map and aligns with the early stages of the game’s 2026 roadmap, which includes a Nintendo Switch 2 release, another new map, and a new limited-time event ahead of its full 1.0 launch.
Phasmophobia is currently available in Early Access on Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation VR2, and Xbox Series X|S. To stay up-to-date on the game, check our article below.
