Punishing Gray Raven CN x Devil May Cry 5 New Details

Punishing Gray Raven (PGR) developer Kuro Games recently held a dedicated livestream on April 27 for their upcoming PGR x Devil May Cry 5 (DMC5) collaboration. This crossover event will feature DMC5 characters coming to PGR on the CN server, with special banners and a special collaboration story event.
The PGR x DMC5 collab was first announced during the game’s 5th anniversary livestream in late 2024, where they showed a sneak peek of the event with DMC5’s Dante and Vergil hinted at being new characters coming over to PGR. With their latest livestream, the developers confirmed this alongside other new details about the event.
Kuro Games officially announced that the PGR x DMC5 crossover will release on May 22 for the CN server. There are no further announcements regarding its possible release in other regions.
Collab Confirmed to Come to Global
Much like the NieR: Automata and Black Rock Shooter collaborations, the Devil May Cry 5 collab is also expected to arrive on the global servers in the near future. However, due to the vague timeline for synchronization between the Chinese and global servers, it's still unclear when the patch will be released outside of China.
But since the synchronization of both servers are expected to finish by the end of 2025, players can expect the Devil May Cry 5 collaboration to drop sometime in Q3 2025.
Free Dante Omniframe and Limited Gacha Banners
During the collab, players will be able to get a Dante Omniframe for free by accomplishing Chapter 6 of the special collaboration story event. Furthermore, there will be a Vergil Omniframe, which will be available exclusively on the event’s limited-time banner.
There will be 4 special rate up banners, namely: Dante Rate Up, Fate Dante Rate Up, Vergil Rate Up, and Fate Vergil Rate Up. During this period, pulls will be discounted to 175 Black Cards per pull.
Additionally, the first 2 copies players get from pulling either Dante or Vergil will come with a bonus duplicate, which will be delivered via in-game mail. For example, pulling 1 copy of Dante/Vergil will give another extra copy. Pull 2 copies, players will receive 2 more. Note that the bonus system only applies for the first 2 pulls, which then would return to the standard 1:1 pulls.
Punishing Gray Raven is available to play on iOS and Android in 5 different regions: China (CN), Taiwan (TW) and Japan (JP), and Korea (KR) and Global (GL). In November 2024, the developers announced their synchronization plan, combining multiple updates for global servers to catch up with CN. They hope to finish the synchronization by the end of 2025.
