Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh – Global is a free event open to all players worldwide, requiring no tickets for participation. Regardless of whether you're a seasoned Pokémon GO player or a newcomer exploring the Sinnoh region for the first time, the event offers exciting gameplay opportunities with zero cost.
The event will feature rotating unique habitats that will be active during respective hours.

The upcoming Pokemon GO Tour: Sinnoh has also been confirmed for Los Angeles. The event is slated for the weekend of February 17 and 18 at the Rose Bowl Stadium. For early enthusiasts, tickets are currently available at an early bird rate of $25 (early bird rate applies until December 31, 2023).

In-Game Bonuses and Features
All Trainers will enjoy in-game bonuses, including a 1/2 Hatch Distance for Eggs placed in Incubators during the event. Moreover, up to 6 Special Trades can be made, regardless of location. A unique trading opportunity is offered to Los Angeles attendees. The event also features a 1/2 Stardust cost for trades. Lastly, up to 9 daily free Raid Passes can be received from spinning Photo Discs at gyms.
Shiny Shaymin Masterwork Research
Trainers participating in the Sinnoh Global event can purchase a ticket for Masterwork Research leading to a Shiny Shaymin encounter. Additional details on this global Masterwork Research are expected to be released soon. For those attending the in-person event in Los Angeles with a purchased ticket, a special Masterwork Research will lead to an encounter with Shiny Shaymin.
However, the global version of Masterwork Research promises to be more challenging than its Los Angeles counterpart.
Shiny Rate Predictions
Based on previous Pokémon GO Tour events, shiny rates for 2024’s global event could potentially be a slightly boosted 1 in 50 chance. The Kanto and Johto Tour events boasted impressive Shiny rates, approximately 1 in 50. During the Hoenn Event, shiny rates were increased for the in-person segment. However, during the Global Event, the boost only applied to certain Pokémon.
One of our trainers at Game8 reports to have gotten around 60-80 Shiny Pokémon for each weekend of the Kanto and Johto Tour events and 28 Shiny Pokémon during the Hoenn Global event.
