Shiny Rate Predictions

Based on previous Pokémon GO Tour events, shiny rates for 2024’s global event could potentially be a slightly boosted 1 in 50 chance. The Kanto and Johto Tour events boasted impressive Shiny rates, approximately 1 in 50. During the Hoenn Event, shiny rates were increased for the in-person segment. However, during the Global Event, the boost only applied to certain Pokémon.

One of our trainers at Game8 reports to have gotten around 60-80 Shiny Pokémon for each weekend of the Kanto and Johto Tour events and 28 Shiny Pokémon during the Hoenn Global event.
