Pokémon has just announced it is holding an over-a-month-long summer festival at Pokémon Centers in Japan.

Pikachu is Teaching a New Dance Craze Soon

Announced today by Pokémon, the company's chain of Pokémon-related specialty store, Pokémon Center, will be hosting an upcoming month-long summer festival, Pokémon Center Festival, filled with exciting events fans can participate in. The Pokémon Center Festival will be held at select Pokémon Centers branches all across Japan from August 1 to September 8, 2024.

The Pokémon Center Festival is promoting a dance called the Pokémon Center Festival Dance which it encourages all interested fans to participate in. A tutorial video of the dance will be uploaded on the official Pokémon YouTube channel at a later date, said the company.

As teased by the company, participants could get a chance to dance the chororegraphy with the iconic pokémon, Pikachu, in select participating stores our favorite electric yellow mouse is visiting.
