Nintendo Switch Online Update Brings Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age

Golden Sun is a series of fantasy role-playing video games developed by Camelot Software Planning and published by Nintendo. The games are often praised for their compelling narratives, turn-based combat, and memorable soundtracks.
The series debuted with Golden Sun for the Game Boy Advance in 2001. It was followed by the sequel, Golden Sun: The Lost Age, released in 2002 (2003 in the West).
The games follow the story of Adepts, individuals who can harness magical powers known as Psynergy. The main characters, Isaac and Garet, embark on a quest to stop a pair of ancient elemental forces from being unleashed and causing chaos in the world. The sequel continues the narrative with new protagonists, expanding on the lore and introducing additional Psynergy abilities.
Initially announced during Nintendo Direct in February 2023, Nintendo introduced Game Boy games to the basic Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Access to Game Boy Advance games was made available exclusively through the premium Expansion Pack upgrade for Switch Online.
