Castlevania Dominus Collection Revives the DS Trilogy
The Nintendo DS trilogy comes back from the dead as a single collection on the Nintendo Switch. The three Castlevania titles included are Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia. But that’s not all! To satisfy retro cravings, the collection will also include both the original version of Haunted Castle and a reimagined take on this classic 1987 arcade game.
Experience these timeless classics with modern conveniences like quick saves and rewind. The Dominus collection was shadow-dropped after the Direct, so grab your Joy-Cons and dive back into the gothic corridors of Castlevania!
Yakuza Kiwami Entering The Nintendo Switch Lineup
Yakuza Kiwami has been released on multiple Xbox and PlayStation consoles. However, finally, after several years, the remake of the original 2005 Yakuza game is coming to the Nintendo Switch this October 24th!
Step into the shoes of Kazuma Kiryu, a former yakuza who is framed for a crime he didn’t commit. Now, he must battle his way through neon-soaked streets, fighting enemies and taking a break from time to time with Kamurocho’s many distractions.

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma Launches Next Spring
Previously known as Project Dragon, Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma finally has a release date. Revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct, the game is slated to launch in Spring 2025. The game will put you in the shoes of an Earth Dancer in the eastern lands of Azuma, where you will do everything in your power to fight against the spreading Blight and bring hope back to the land.
While the game will undoubtedly feature the series’ signature farming mechanics, it seems that combat and story will play a more prominent role.
Based on the announcement trailer revealed during the August 2024 Nintendo Direct, the game will focus around the conflict between two sides and two protagonists—the male Subaru and the female Kaguya. While their roles in the story beyond being Earth Dancers and protagonists are yet to be seen, the trailer suggests that their fates are closely intertwined.
Tales of Graces f Remaster Graces The Nintendo Switch
A remaster to one of the great Tales titles, Tales of Graces f, is coming to the Nintendo Switch on January 17, 2025! Venture once again to the planet of Ephinea on a quest to prevent all-out war between three major countries. The classic RPG returns with entirely revamped graphics, gameplay, and a variety of quality of life improvements that’s sure to bring joy to fans and newcomers alike.
Atelier Yumia To Release in 2025!
A new title in the Atelier series has been announced. Its full title is Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, and it will be an open world fantasy adventure full of action and alchemy. Enhance your skills, defeat enemies, and overcome challenges in Atelier Yumia, releasing in 2025 for the Nintendo Switch, PC, and PlayStation consoles.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky The 1st Remake Coming To Nintendo Switch in 2025!
Nintendo Direct 2024 dropped a bombshell that lasted only 10 seconds for Trails fans today: a full remake of the Trails in the Sky FC, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 1st, is coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2025!
Though the announcement only lasted for a couple of seconds, the brief teaser showed that the remake will maintain its original turn-based combat system, but with wholly revamped graphics and a slew of other improvements.

Balatro Collabs With Witcher, Vampire Survivors and More
Balatro announced multiple collaborations with popular titles Witcher, Vampire Survivors, Dave the Diver, and Among Us. The update, titled Balatro: Friends of Jimbo, will be free for all owners of the game. Players will be able to use cards inspired by the four games listed above, employ more illegal poker hands, discover game-changing jokers, and create powerful deck combos. Each collaboration card will also feature original artwork from its respective game.

Tetris Forever Brings Several Ways to Play the Classic Puzzle Game, Releasing 2024
Tetris is celebrating its 40th anniversary in a big way! Nintendo Switch owners can get ready to dive into a massive Tetris compilation, Tetris Forever, launching this winter.
The collection boasts a whopping 15 Tetris games, spanning from the original Electronika 60 version to modern classics like Tetris 2 + Bombliss and Tetris Battle Gardien. To top it off, you'll also get a behind-the-scenes look at the history of Tetris with over an hour of documentary clips
Additionally, the game’s trailer also showcased the new mode called Tetris Time Warp, where players can "jump between gameplay styles from across the series."

Share stories of hope and new beginnings in Coffee Talk Tokyo, slated for release in 2025. This third installment in the Coffee Talk series puts players "in a world where humans and fantastical creatures rub shoulders with each other." Here, you will be tasked to "listen to their stories of love, loss, joy, and sadness, all while serving up delicious drinks designed to not just quench their thirst," but also "warm their hearts."
Star Overdrive Arrives in 2025
Surf the sky in Star Overdrive, releasing for the Nintendo Switch as a timed-exclusive in 2025. The game will let players soar through a vast, alien world on their trusty hoverboard, exploring diverse landscapes. From scorching deserts to tranquil waters, each environment offers unique challenges and breathtaking vistas.
As they progress through the game, players will also have to face off against formidable enemies with creative combat strategies. They will also be able to unlock and combine unique abilities and customize their hoverboards to suit their playstyles.

Confront the feline menace as a brave mouse in Morsels, a top-down roguelike coming to the Nintendo Switch in February 2025.
Deep beneath the surface, a sentient Fatberg grants you magical cards that transform you into powerful Morsels, tiny monsters with unique abilities. Players will have to use these Morsels strategically to overcome challenges and face off against the wicked forces of predatory cats.

Pico Park 2 Shows It Takes 2, or 8, to Tango
TECOPARK surprised fans during the Nintendo Indie World Showcase by announcing Pico Park 2, the sequel to the popular co-op puzzle platformer. Pico Park 2 maintains the core gameplay of its predecessor. The game allows up to eight players to collaborate in overcoming obstacles. The best part: All levels can be played regardless of the number of participants.
Pico Park 2 was shadow-dropped on the Nintendo Switch following the Nintendo Direct presentation. You can download the game directly from the Nintendo eShop.

Moth Kubit Enters The World on the Nintendo Switch
Astrolabe Games and Helena Creative Studio announced that the 2D top-down RPG Moth Kubit will be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
Reminiscent of Gregor Samsa’s fate in Franz Kafka’s "The Metamorphosis", players take on the role of Moth Kubit, a newly promoted insect in a bizarre corporate world. As moth navigates the labyrinthine offices and encounters various insect colleagues, they must unravel a mysterious "Final Process" that threatens to "change everything."
Embark on a Kafkaesque corporate journey as Moth Kubit, navigating a world filled with insect characters and experiencing multiple endings based on your choices. The game is set to launch in 2025 for the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.

Nintendo Direct August 2024: Remasters and Remakes
Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remaster Release Date Revealed
After a prolonged delay, the legendary cult classic RPG series returns with Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification War, available on the Nintendo eShop on March 6, 2025.
The remaster was initially announced in September 2022, However, in August 2023, Konami delayed the game, citing the need for "additional time… to ensure the quality performance and gameplay experience our users deserve."
Nearly a year later, the remaster returns with a new trailer, showcasing two exciting additions: the ability to speed up combat and an auto-battle function to streamline the grinding process.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zone Trilogy Lands on the Switch
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy is the perfect way to dive into the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series before the highly anticipated release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 later this year. This compilation includes the first three S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games: Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky, and Call of Pripyat.
Originally available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PS4, the trilogy will now allow Nintendo Switch owners to uncover the secrets of the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone when it arrives on the Nintendo Switch this November.

Capcom is bringing back another wave of classic fighting games with Capcom Fighting Collection 2. Plus, you can now test your skills against players worldwide online.

In addition to the above, it was also announced that Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on September 12, 2024 digitally, and on November 22, 2024 physically.
Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will be released on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch some time in 2025.
MySims Cozy Bundle
MySims and MySims Kingdom are coming together in a Nintendo Switch exclusive bundle, launching on November 19th. The two games were originally released for the Nintendo Wii and DS, but this will mark the first time a Sims game has appeared on the Nintendo Switch.
According to the game’s website, the bundle invites players to "unleash their creativity as they explore familiar worlds filled with puzzles, hidden locations, vibrant characters, and endless opportunities to build, paint, and decorate."
The bundle is now available for pre-order in the Nintendo eShop.
Worms Armageddon Anniversary Edition Makes an Explosive Comeback
Worms Armageddon is set to make a triumphant return on September 26th in an Anniversary Edition. This remastered version, developed by Team17, offers a fresh take on the classic 1999 title, featuring enhanced graphics, optimized controller support, and a host of quality-of-life improvements.
Beyond its core gameplay, the Anniversary Edition boasts a plethora of additional features, including online support, a fully playable Game Boy Color version, an interactive museum showcasing the series’ history, and new display options for customization.
The game will launch for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

Peglin Bounces to Nintendo Switch
The pachinko rogue-like, Peglin, has officially bounced off Early Access and is now available for purchase on the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
In Peglin, players embark on a quest to reclaim their stolen gold from menacing dragons. By collecting special orbs and popping pegs, players can deal damage to enemies in a fast-paced pachinko inspired combat system. With each run, players will encounter new maps with different orbs, enemies and "surprises along the way."
The game is also planned for release on PlayStation and Xbox consoles in early 2025. In the meantime, you can purchase Peglin directly from the Nintendo eShop for Switch.
The GOAT is Back With Goat Simulator 3
Coffee Stain Publishing and Coffee Stain North have brought the goat-based mayhem of Goat Simulator 3 to the Nintendo Switch! The sandbox game allows players to unleash their inner goat and wreak havoc on the island of San Angora. Plus, the game’s co-op mode will allow players to team up with a friend and create even more mayhem together!
Whether you’re exploring the open world, completing quests, or simply causing chaos, Goat Simulator 3 provides a hilarious and lighthearted escape. The digital version will be available today, with the physical version coming out later in November 2024!
Wobbly Life Shambles Its Way Into The Nintendo Switch
RubberBandGames is bringing the physics-based sandbox game, Wobbly Life, to the Nintendo Switch this December! The indie game, already available on PlayStation 4, Xbox consoles, and PC, invites players to explore a whimsical world filled with quirky characters and endless possibilities.
Step into the shoes of a young Wobbly who has been kicked out of their home and must now fend for themselves. The game’s open-world environment is packed with mini-games, secrets, and a variety of jobs to complete. From delivering pizzas to becoming a disco dancer, players can earn money and unlock new items and vehicles as they progress.
Nintendo Direct August 2024: DLC
Sea of Stars DLC: Throes of the Watchmaker Releasing for Free
Award-winning RPG Sea of Stars will release a free DLC on the Nintendo Switch and other platforms in Spring 2025. Titled "Throes of the Watchmaker", this free expansion will transport players to the miniature world of Horloge, a land threatened by a curse.
Valere and Zale will need to adapt their powers to the unique rules that govern Horloge. By embracing new roles as Juggler and Acrobat, respectively, the heroes will unlock a plethora of new attacks and combos. Joining them is the robot Artificer.
The DLC promises a wealth of new content, including a local co-op mode, where up to three players can embark on a journey together.
It’s All Ogre Now! PowerWash Simulator Shrek DLC Mints New Maps From The Shrek Universe
Shrek knows a little something about being dirty, and so you’ll have to take it upon yourself to clean the grime. The new Powerwash Simulator Shrek DLC brings 5 fairy tale maps from the Shrek Universe and throws you in there with a knight-themed character model. The paid DLC allows you to play solo, online co-op, or up to 6 players in Free Play, coming in the fall of 2024.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Welcomes Autumn with New Event
Disney Dreamlight Valley, a Disney and Pixar life sim similar to Stardew Valley, will run its End of Summer event from Sept. 4th to Sept. 26th. Hang out with your favorite Disney characters and collect specialty Marshmallows to make some treats for exclusive rewards.
