⚫︎ Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound releases its D3 major update, adding Steam Community items and 25 major bug fixes. A few of the items include 10 trading cards, 6 rank badges, 5 emoticons, 4 profile backgrounds, 4 animated avatar frames, 4 animated avatars, 2 animated profile backgrounds, and more.
Major bug fixes include patching out soft locks from using certain arts and moves during levels and boss fights as well as closing and re-oping Muramasa's shop. Other interactions were also fixed along with in-game character behaviors.
September 25
⚫︎ Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound releases its D2 major update on September 25, 2025. This update is focused on adding polish to the game as well as bug fixes and better stability.
Key fixes in the D2 update include boss fights and challenges, gameplay flow and checkpoints, levels, talismans, accessiblity settings, enemies and animation, language settings detection in Windows, and general improvements to perfromance and stability.

⚫︎ Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound releases its D1 major update on August 22, 2025. This adds an option to restart from your last checkpoint, unlocking Hard Mode by winning the duel against Ryu, new dialogues and portraits, toggleable hit stop and screen shake, Golden Skins immediately available upon achieving S rank on all levels, additional sound effects, and numerous bug fixes.

⚫︎ Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is set to release on July 31, 2025, with 60 FPS support confirmed across all platforms—except the Nintendo Switch. Unlike the studio’s previous titles, Blasphemous and Blasphemous 2, which mostly ran at 60 FPS on Switch, Ragebound will not maintain the same performance.
While the new Switch 2 is expected to handle the game better, stable 60 FPS is not yet guaranteed. Dotemu has indicated that post-launch updates may address performance on Nintendo consoles.

⚫︎ Dotemu and The Game Kitchen have released a new 14-minute gameplay video for NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound, highlighting a brand-new stage and intense boss fight. The footage offers an extended look at the 2D side-scrolling action platformer’s combat mechanics, level design, and visual style ahead of its Summer 2025 launch.

⚫︎ Silver Lining Interactive has announced it will distribute physical editions of NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. The 2D side-scrolling action platformer will be available in stores starting September 12.

⚫︎ Dotemu and The Game Kitchen have released a new trailer for NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound, showcasing Kumori as the game's second playable character. Hailing from the series’ infamous Black Spider Clan, Kumori brings a new dynamic to the side-scrolling action-adventure title.

⚫︎ Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound was officially unveiled during TGA 2024 and is set to release in Summer 2025. Developed by The Game Kitchen, the new entry explores an untold chapter in the Ninja Gaiden saga, following Kenji Mozu—a young ninja from Hayabusa Village—as he rises to defend his home from a terrifying new threat. The game marks the series’ return in arcade beat-em-up form.
