New Mass Effect Clips and Character Design Unveiled
The teasers were unveiled through a combination of blog posts, social media updates, and unlisted YouTube videos, sparking an online treasure hunt for eager fans.
The teasers contained access codes, each revealing a different video clip related to what seems to be the next Mass Effect game. The first teaser, titled N7 Day 2023 | EPSILON,
was released after the posting of a countdown with the header “Access Code: Epsilon” on EA's website. The second teaser, “N7 Day 2023 | DEFIANCE”, was revealed with the access code “Oculon-2819-Defiance,” and the third drop featured N7 Day 2023 | NEBULA
with the access code “Post-Nebula.”
The slew of cryptic posts sparked excitement among Mass Effect fans, hinting at the upcoming title's storyline, possible character returns, and even the game’s working title. The clips feature a mysterious character wearing a full-face helmet and suit with an N7 logo print.
The teasers culminated in the release of a full 34-second clip, shared online by the game's official accounts. BioWare expressed gratitude on their official X (fka Twitter) account, acknowledging the fans' participation in “hunting down” all the released clips.
