⚫︎ Slavic Magic has announced a major overhaul for Manor Lords, its medieval city builder currently in early access. In a recent Steam post, lead developer Grzegorz Styczeń confirmed that the next update will deliver a full rework
of core systems, including buildings, production chains, and environmental interactions.
The update will introduce a new building affinity system, along with a new map, shops, and workstations. Due to the scale of changes, smaller patches have been paused to avoid disrupting development. However, the team plans to return to more frequent updates once the rework is complete.

⚫︎ In a post shared on May 24, 2025, the official Manor Lords X (formerly Twitter) account reassured fans that development is progressing steadily. The team behind the game is expanding, and the next update is described as getting “more and more juicy.”

⚫︎ Manor Lords marks its first year in Early Access with major development progress and new features. The team, which began as a solo effort, has expanded to include specialists in programming, art, design, and AI.
Upcoming improvements include smarter AI capable of managing villages, a detailed records view for tracking production and consumption, a reworked approval system, and a new upkeep mechanic for buildings. Additionally, stone construction is being expanded with the introduction of quarries and lime kilns to support more advanced structures.

at the Digital Vikings Awards, as announced by publisher Hooded Horse on Twitter. The recognition was presented during DevGAMM in Gdańsk, with special thanks extended to both @_DigitalVikings and @DevGAMM for supporting indie games and developers.
