Hololive New Fan Game in the Works
Holo X Break Will Be A Beat-Em Up Multiplayer
KayAnimate, the developers renowned for their popular 2D-pixel art fan game "HoloCure," have just announced their latest project, "Holo X Break." In "HoloCure," players assume the roles of their favorite Vtubers from Hololive, battling through crowds of fans to rescue them from mind control.
This new game follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, allowing players to once again dive into the world of Hololive Vtubers. Unlike its predecessor, this installment shifts away from bullet-hell gameplay to offer a classic beat-em-up action experience.
The game showcases talents from Hololive's NePoLaBo group, including Momosuzu Nene, Omaru Polka, Yukihana Lamy, and Shishiro Botan. Each character possesses distinct abilities and skills as they unite to confront the mysterious holoX group and rescue their CEO.
Not only is this game going to have "140+ emotes specially drawn by over 20 guest artists" but it will also have local and online multiplayer for up to 4 players. Although it is still unknown whether the game will be free like Holocure and when the release date will be so stay tuned for more updates on this.
Holo X Break is coming out this March 29, but it’s still unknown whether this game will be free to play just like Holocure. Stay tuned for more updates on this.
