Developer Pan Studio is set to announce the global release date of their upcoming third-person shooter RPG gacha title, Duet Night Abyss, via livestream on August 26, 2025. The game is slated for a Q4 2025 release window as per a previous announcement on their social media accounts last July, so the to-be-announced release date will likely be around the same ballpark. The devs will also show new gameplay optimizations in the upcoming livestream, according to their official social media accounts.

Optimizations After Closed-Beta Test 2 This June
Besides the release date, the devs will also address player feedback from their second closed beta test, which ran from June 12, 2025, to July 2, 2025. According to their previous closed beta test review, the devs plan to reduce grind, improve playability, and enhance immersion.
Among the optimizations listed to achieve these plans are based on character movement, main story progression, reduced time pressure, grind-related systems, and the Secret Letter system. Other changes coming will be refinements to quality-of-life (QoL) features, UI, character models, environment assets, several bug fixes, and mobile optimizations.

Pre-Registration Currently Open
Besides waiting for the upcoming livestream, fans can pre-register for Duet Night Abyss in its official website to get milestone rewards, which include in-game currency, items, and the character Berenica.
