CS2 Pre-Order
CS2 was not available to pre-order before its official launch. Only those chosen for the Limited Test starting from March 23, 2023 were able to access the game before its surprise full launch on September 27, 2023. Due to this nature, it had no pre-order bonuses.
The game is currently free-to-play on Steam only, replacing the old Counter-Strike: Global Offensive storepage.

CS2 DLC
CS2 has one DLC available in the ‘Prime Status Upgrade’ that’s selling for $9.99, which grants buyers said Prime Status in-game. Prime is to separate free-to-play players from paid members in matchmaking. However, Prime Status can also be earned in-game by accumulating enough EXP and leveling up the player’s CS2 account.
Aside from the DLC, CS2 has a multitude of microtransactions available such as the Armory Pass, which is their version of the Battle Pass. Players can also purchase keys in order to open weapon cases that can be claimed per week. Weapon cases will yield various weapon skins that can be sold to other players in the community market.
