Forget about grinding multiplayer for camos or bragging rights. Announced earlier today, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is throwing a contest where you can win a real-life safehouse! One lucky contestant will bag a whopping £100,000 to put towards their first home.
Dubbed the "Safehouse Challenge," this promotion will be hosted by radio host Roman Kemp and pit three "Rogue Agents," influencers Angry Ginge, Ash Holme, and Danny Aarons, as they go head-to-head in a series of "deception-themed" challenges inspired by the upcoming shooter—all most likely designed to test their cunning and ability to pull off a bluff.
In addition to the £100,000 house deposit, the lucky winner will also receive a comprehensive prize package that includes contributions to legal fees, furniture purchases, and moving costs. To enhance their gaming experience in their new home, the winner will also receive a gaming bundle featuring an Xbox Series X|S console and controller, TV screen, gaming PC, and a copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 for their preferred platform.
According to Roman Kemp in their press release, "This year Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is taking gamers back to the 90s, a time that we all look back on fondly thanks to the incredible music, wild fashion, and ‘Cool Britannia’ vibe. However, the 90s was also a time of political upheaval and deception, so to secure the prize for one of their fans, our Rogue Agents will need to embody the 90s and the Black Ops spirit to secure the bag."
But why "deception"? Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller, after all. The game takes players back to the Cold War era, a time when shadows held secrets and loyalty was a valuable, but rare, commodity.
This competition is open only to legal residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over who are not currently homeowners. Entries are open from 9:00 BST on October 4th, 2024, and close at 10:00 BST on October 21st, 2024.
To enter, head over to their official promo website, where you will have to provide your basic details to register for the competition. You will also be asked two questions:
⚫︎ "Why should you win the first home deposit and Safehouse loadout?"
⚫︎ "Which favourite influencer (Rogue Agent) will you be rooting for to win in the Safehouse Challenge?"
For that extra edge, you will also be asked to upload a short video of no more than 30 seconds to further explain why you deserve the prize. The video should connect to your answer in Question 1. Remember, you can only submit one entry, so make it count!
