New Map, Quests, and More
ARC Raiders has a lot of things lined up for the rest of the year, which include a new map, new quests, a community unlock event, and more. As revealed in a post on ARC Raiders’ official Twitter (X) on November 1, Embark Studios gave fans a preview of what’s to come in the next 2 months for the game.
Currently, developers are implementing various improvements, including new map conditions, new feats and trials, new cosmetics, quality-of-life updates, and more. Although the year is ending, Embark Studios still has a plethora of developments coming for November and December.
Titled "North Line," November updates will include a new map called "Stella Montis," an upcoming community unlock event, new ARC called "Matriach" and "Shredder", new gameplay items, and new quests.
Meanwhile, the December update titled "Cold Snap" will introduce a new snowfall map condition, the "Flickering Flames" event, expedition departure window, new raider deck, and more quests.
Embark Studios has yet to reveals the specifics and release dates for each update, but fans are excited for the jam-packed months ahead. Many compared this type of pacing with their other title, The Finals, which also held events and launched updates every other week or so.
With the momentum ARC Raiders currently has, Embark Studios looks to capitalize on it and keep the game at the top for a very long time. As of writing, the game is the #1 top-selling and #4 most-played game on Steam with "Very Positive" reviews to boot.

Login Queues Compensation
While ARC Raiders is indeed one of the most popular games right now, this popularity became a hindrance when the game ran into server issues due to 100k players trying to log in on launch day. Because of this, Embark Studios wanted to give fans compensation for the unfortunate opening weekend.
In a Twitter (X) post on November 4, the developers announced that they are giving 500 Raider Tokens to players who attempted to log in on Sunday. They jokingly blamed the mishap on the players’ helpful rooster companion, Scrappy, and stated, "We appreciate your patience as our servers had a wobble on Sunday, Scrappy must've pecked a few wires loose, he's been put on the naughty step."
Additionally, they announced that the Server Slammer Hiker Backpack can now be claimed for those who participated in the game’s Server Slam playtest. They can access the item through the in-game inbox.
Fans praised the developers for their prompt response to the game’s issues and for their generosity in giving compensation. Embark Studios is keen on keeping the game fair for all, as demonstrated when the studio gave back items players lost due to "unfair play."
