Network/Streaming Platform to be Confirmed
As announced by Among Us' social media account over the weekend, the Among Us animated show will be led by a stellar cast including Ashley Johnson, known for her role as Ellie in The Last of Us, and Elijah Wood, most regarded for his role as Frodo in Lord of the Rings. Joining them are fellow actors Randall Park, known for Fresh Off the Boat and WandaVision, and NBC sitcom Community star, Yvette Nicole Brown.
Produced in collaboration with Among Us developer InnerSloth, CBS Eye Animation Productions is spearheading the animated series. Titmouse, the animation studio behind coming-of-age sitcom "Big Mouth," will handle animation for Among Us Animated Show. While no network or streaming platform has been confirmed, ongoing discussions were reportedly taking place to secure distribution.
The show was first reported to be in development in June 2023. Among Us Animated Show will be based on the premise of the game, revolving around the mission of uncovering impostors among the crew members aboard a spaceship. Crew members must identify and eliminate the impostor before it sabotages the ship and kills everyone.
