Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s Valley of Memory DLC Brings New Content
More Than 6 Hours of Content

Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s upcoming free DLC, Valley of Memory, will have more than six hours of gameplay and new story content for the two-year-old game. Ubisoft held an online reveal livestream on October 7, 2025, where the developers shared more details about the said expansion.
The Valley of Memory DLC was first teased in August 2025, when it was mentioned that it would introduce players to a new region that is based on a historical and archaeological site in modern-day Saudi Arabia called "AlUla."

This new area, set in the 9th century, will be the center stage for AC Mirage protagonist Basim as he takes on a new journey in search of his long-lost father. Aside from the new map, there will be new assassination targets, side quests, and contracts for players to partake in.
The developers noted that this update will also bring new content to the game’s main city, Baghdad. Ubisoft emphasized that this is the perfect time for long-time players to replay the game or for newcomers to experience AC Mirage.
They stated, "We're opening the possibility to replay the main missions of Basim's story with associated new rewards alongside improved parkour mechanics that offer new moves like a free jump as well as new tools upgrades and brand new visual filters paying tribute to previous AC games like Origins or Odyssey."
Recreating AlUla

While the series is often well-regarded for its recreation of each game’s historical settings, the developers admitted that reimagining AlUla was challenging for them. Valley of Memory DLC Artistic Director Florian Salomez shared how they recreated AlUla, despite the area’s history being lost in time.
Salomez explained, "A flourishing civilization on one side, and an ancient wilderness on the other. Just like golden age Baghdad, most documentation of this incredibly rich setting was lost to time. And as always with the Assassin's Creed brand, we want to make sure the setting and the period shine. The recreation process is unique, as it is both an artistic and a historical endeavor."
Ubisoft worked with internal and external experts on the matter to "ensure faithful restoration" of the historical landmarks that are in AlUla. With the new map brimming with different terrain and unique locations, AlUla will be a "rich playground" for players to enjoy parkouring around and undergoing missions.

This new free DLC, which marks the second anniversary of Assassin's Creed Mirage, continues the series’ goal of shedding light and highlighting the world’s history. Two years after its release, fans continue to support the game, as developers constantly improve and update its gameplay and content.
