During the Voices of Valisthea panel at PAX West 2023 in Seattle, producer of Final Fantasy 16 Naoki Yoshida joined the panel virtually to announce new updates for the game. This announcement delighted the audience and demonstrated the development team's strong dedication to the player base.

To begin his greeting, Mr. Yoshida expressed his sincere gratitude for the overwhelmingly positive feedback and the support the game has received from players worldwide since its release. He spoke of his profound joy at seeing the diverse responses and the enthusiasm gamers have displayed for Final Fantasy 16.

Free Update: Weapon Skins, Alternate Outfits and Game Improvements

As a thank you for this outpouring of love, a free update was released, immediately available for download following the panel. This version adds two interesting new features, which will improve the gaming experience: Weapon Skins and Alternate Outfits.

Players can now alter Clive's weapon's appearance to that of any other blade in their possession while keeping the stats of the presently worn weapon. This update adds a new level of customization and personalization to the battle.

Clive and other significant characters, like Jill, Torgal, Ambrosia, and Joshua, will be getting fresh outfits. Players can quickly switch between the default and the additional clothes as they like to fully immerse themselves in the game's universe.

The production team has also made minor adjustments based on user feedback, such as new controller layouts and more, for people playing Final Fantasy 16 for the first time. This guarantees new players a more seamless and enjoyable experience.
