The full roster of Mortal Kombat 1 has been rolled out, and all characters from the base roster, Kameo Fighters, and Kombat Pack, have been announced. As the game's various teasers show that the 3D model versions of the characters of Mortal Kombat 1 have been based on their 2D models, no confirmation has been made on the official cast of voice actors joining Mortal Kombat 1, which leaves fans to wonder if they will still get to hear the authenticity of the characters in the upcoming game.

During an interview with Skybound in San Diego Comic Con 2023 however, Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon confirmed that J.K. Simmons will be voicing Omni-Man in the game. J.K. Simmons has been voicing Omni-Man in Amazon Prime Video's television series Invincible.

Omni-Man comes in the game as part of Mortal Kombat 1's DLC pack Official Kombat Pack. When asked about what fans can look forward to when it comes to Omni-Man being a Mortal Kombat, Ed Boon gave no specifics but told the interviewer that fans can expect gameplay videos and 'hype' videos as the game leads up to its launch on September 19, 2023, especially with the release of Omni-Man.
