The Capturing of the Perpetrator
Eleven days after the girl vanished, law enforcement agencies collaborated to effectively pinpoint the location of the perpetrator’s apartment complex in Tolleson, Arizona, more than 2,000 miles away. When the FBI and Tolleson Police quickly encircled the location, Ethan Roberts was taken into custody. He was later accused in federal court of various crimes, and in April, was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison.
