Get ready to dust off your nostalgia goggles because everyone's favorite wisecracking gecko is making a comeback! Limited Run Games has announced the release of a remastered Gex Trilogy package. Gex, Gex: Enter the Gecko, and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch in 2024.

The Gex Trilogy is a set of three 3D platformers that follow the exploits of Gex, a gregarious gecko who likes television. Each episode takes players on a crazy adventure, as Gex travels through many films and television programs to stop the evil Emperor Rez from gaining control of the Media Dimension.

Gex, launched in 1995, immediately became popular among gamers. It was a remarkable game of its era, thanks to its distinctive fusion of action platforming, humor, and creative level design. Due to Gex's success, two sequels were made. Gex: Enter the Gecko, the first, was released in 1998 for the PS and PC, while Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko, the second, was released in 1999 for the same platforms.
