Eternal Return Battle Pass Hypes Up Official Launch
Not Enough Rewards? Roger That!
In a recent post to the Eternal Return News page, Nimble Neuron announced an expansion of its Season 9 Battle Pass to accommodate extra rewards, as well as bonus Web Points (used to level up the Battle Pass) that can be earned once from their May's Nightmare Journal login event.
This comes at a time after most of its regular players would have already completed their Battle Pass. At that point, they no longer had any use for the following Web Points they would win through the current events "May's Nightmare Journal" and "Try to Beat Nicky!" as well as the future events such as "June's Case Log."
With the expansion of the Battle Pass, players can earn up to 500 more Event NP, a temporary form of its in-game currency that the player can use to purchase anything from skins, characters, icons, emojis, and even past Battle Passes and levels.
Season 9 ER Pass Rewards
Eternal Return's Season 9 Battle Pass features the best lineup of rewards the game has had since they implemented them at the start of Season 4, despite only having half its predecessors' size.
Regular drops include:
- Up to six hours of XP Boosts
- Up to six hours of A-Coin Boosts
- 10,000 A-Coin
- 2,200 Event NP (2,700 with the expansion)
Special drops include:
- Elena spray, icon, and emote
- Magnus spray, icon, and emote
- Jan spray, icon, and emote
- Bianca spray, icon, and emote
- Season 9 "Class of '23" Lobby Screen
Finally, there are the free skins, their rarity, and their corresponding Battle Pass level to unlock:
Student Council President Elena, Epic, level 1
Rebel Magnus, Rare, level 19
Death Challenger Jan, Rare, level 36
Transfer Student Bianca, Epic, level 50
The game gave away other free skins since the start of Season 9 through events, including Popstar Camilo, Nightmare Holder Vanya, Demon Hunter Johann, and Rebellious Nicky. The Apprentice Witch Tia skin can still be claimed by subscribing to the game's newsletter. More free skins will be up for grabs as the game's official launch date of July 20 approaches. Whether or not these skins will be available for purchase using in-game currency after their respective events is still unknown.
