New Story Scenario to Come With Game's Final DLC Wave

A new story scenario for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is coming out with the game's final wave of DLC on April 25th. Nintendo confirmed the release date of the expansion, Future Redeemed, via a Tweet on Wednesday.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed is a prequel set just before the events of XC3, featuring all three main protagonists of the Xenoblade Nintendo Switch games in one party. According to Nintendo, the scenario will also feature new battle mechanics such as the Unity Combo, where two party members can attack an enemy simultaneously.

The new story scenario is exclusively available via the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass, which can be bought via the Nintendo Store for $29.99.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was released for the Nintendo Switch back in 2022, being the fourth game overall in the Xenoblade Chronicles series. Nintendo has said that it has sold roughly 1.81 million copies worldwide.
