Wave 4 of the Fire Emblem Engage Expansion Pass includes the Fell Xenologue DLC, released on April 5, 2023. The DLC features a new story that players can complete to unlock two new classes: the Enchanter and the Mage Cannoneer.

The Enchanter Class is a support class that assists allies with using items and weapons. By using certain items, the Enchanter can enhance their weapon or their allies' weapons, allowing them to deal more damage or gain additional effects. For example, the Enchanter can use healing items to heal allies or use things that negate chain attacks to prevent enemies from attacking multiple times.

The Mage Cannoneer Class is a long-range attacking class that uses cannonballs with various effects to damage enemies from a distance. With the Mage Cannoneer, players can take out enemies from afar and support allies from a safe distance.

To change a unit's class into the Enchanter or Mage Cannoneer, players need to use the Mystic Satchel and Mage Cannon items earned as a completion reward from the DLC or purchase them from the Item Shop. Once players have obtained these items, they can use them to change a unit's class and take advantage of the new abilities and features of the Enchanter and Mage Cannoneer classes.

Fell Xenologue Allies Now Playable

Clearing the Fell Xenologue DLC not only unlocks the Enchanter and Mage Cannoneer classes but also significantly impacts the main story of Fire Emblem. The allies who appeared in the Fell Xenologue DLC will now be available in the main story as playable units, allowing players to add them to their party and use their unique skills and abilities in battle.

Furthermore, by adding these allies to your party, you can engage in support conversations with them in Somniel, the game's hub area. Support conversations are interactions between two characters that can strengthen their bond and increase battle effectiveness. By engaging in these conversations, players can deepen their understanding of the characters and their motivations and unlock new abilities and bonuses.

With these new allies and their support conversations, players can better prepare themselves for the game's ultimate goal: claiming the 12 Emblem Rings. By using these new allies' power and unique abilities, players can increase their chances of successfully claiming the rings.
