About High on Life
"High on Life" is a humorous first-person shooter that expertly combines Metroidvania and action-adventure themes. It was created by Justin Roiland, co-creator of iconic animated series like Rick and Morty
and Solar Opposites,
and developed by the team at Squanch Games. The game debuted on December 13, 2022, for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It then made its way to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on July 22, 2023.
In this chaotic game, players take on the character of a recent high school graduate thrown into the job of a bounty hunter and given the mission of defending humanity against an extraterrestrial cartel with an odd thirst for humans. The charm is enhanced by a strange group of talking guns, each with a unique personality and set of skills.
