Furthermore, players can also engage in personal missions, which reward them with new crew members, tanks, and more.
Recently, the 2.0 update came out, which brought in a plethora of features and customization to the tank roster and gameplay elements. It also expanded on player missions by adding more of them for the players to complete. Other highlights of the 2.0 update include: 16 new vehicles, big vehicle rebalancing, and a new event called Operation Boiling Point, which also introduces a new map called Nordskar.

World of Tanks Gameplay

Large tank battles are the main draw of World of Tanks. The game comes with four different game modes. For solo players, random 15 vs. 15 battles are available, as well as training and tutorials. On the other hand, the frontline mode is a seasonal game mode that allows for the massive 30 vs. 30 tank battles. More competitive players have the tournament mode to play in. Finally, players who are a part of clans can join the stronghold and global game modes. These modes are focused on different groups fighting over resources in a global map, giving clans the opportunity to flex their strategic planning skills.
Furthermore, the game also features an upgrade system for the player’s tanks. The game allows them to spend in-game currency to upgrade their tank’s parts. They also have the ability to upgrade or change the type of ammunition they load and the equipment they have on hand.
World of Tanks Reviews
While Critics Like the Game, Player Issues Tank Its Review Score

World of Tanks had an overall Metacritic score of 80 among critics, while having a much lower score of 34 among players. While being praised by critics for executing a simple idea very well, some fans take issue with the game’s monetization, stating that if a player wishes to use the best tanks in the game, they will have to buy them or grind for a long time. There were also players who wished for a more historical approach to the game, desiring more realism for the game. However, fans also appreciate the game for executing a fun concept well.
