Styx: Blades of Greed is the third installment in the stealth franchise featuring Styx, the cunning goblin. The game released on February 19, 2026 at 4:00 AM EST / 1:00 AM PST for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and at 12:00 PM EST / 9:00 AM PST on PC via Steam and Epic Games. It can also be wishlisted on GOG. For those who pre-ordered the Quartz Edition, the game went live two days ahead of launch on February 17.
Styx: Blades of Greed promises a richly detailed medieval fantasy world where greed and survival intertwine, primarily characterized by Styx’s signature sarcasm, biting humor, and covert navigation prowess. Set in the wake of the second game's (Styx: Shards of Darkness) conclusion, players return to the shoes of Styx, who now has his eyes set on Quartz, the most coveted material shrouded in mysterious power. Now thrown into the Great War's early beginnings—kindling conflict between humans, elves, and orcs—Styx and his band of outcasts must outwit the traps laid by the Inquisition as they traverse the enormous, vertical-oriented environments of The Wall, Turquoise Dawn, and the elven capital ruins of Akenash.

Styx: Blades of Greed Gameplay
Styx: Blades of Greed veers away from most action-adventure titles by using the art of infiltration, rather than fighting opponents head-on. The heist gameplay revolves around the freedom and creativity to maneuver past each location, providing the player with a dynamic array of choices and abilities to solve stealth puzzles. Whether it is crafting potions and weapons beforehand or utilizing the current environment to one's advantage, careful, strategic thinking goes hand-in-hand with Styx's agility to catch the enemies off-guard, killing them before they could even realize what was happening.
Styx has four special abilities that can aid him in his quest. The addictive Amber substance allows him to utilize the defensive-inclined Cloning and Invisibility abilities, while Quartz grants the more outward abilities of Mind Control and Time Shift, which slows down time.
