This modern fantasy weaves the folklore and mythos of the Deep South into a rich narrative. You play as Hazel, an aspiring Weaver—one who mends broken bonds and spirits using ancient magic.

South of Midnight Gameplay
South of Midnight is an action-adventure game with major narrative elements and platforming mechanics. Striking the same vein as other adventure games like Uncharted and Tomb Raider, this third-person adventure sees the protagonist, Hazel, traverse a topographically rich swamp using a mystical power that lets her jump, swing, and glide through the foliage.
South of Midnight also features a robust combat system in which timed dodges and strikes are key to defeating enemies.
The game introduces Haints, a diverse enemy class corrupted by dark forces. Players will guide Hazel as she utilizes her weaving powers and magical tools to cleanse these creatures and their surroundings, restoring the area to its natural state.
Among the notable foes are Two-Toed Tom, a massive blind albino alligator the size of an island, and Huggin’ Molly, a monstrous spider-like woman capable of spinning webs that players must carefully dodge while strategizing their attacks.
