Pioner Overview
Pioner is a first-person MMORPG by GFAGAMES that was released on December 16, 2025 for Steam as Early Access. The game will also be launching on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, though a release date has yet to be announced for these platforms.
Players step inside a radioactive Soviet-era island isolated from the outside world by a large technogenic anomaly. As a former operative, players must not only survive in this post-apocalyptic world, but also find and rescue their comrades as well as investigate the MOGILNIK station.
In Pioner, players must face mutated monsters and the island’s other biological anomalies. Players can build outposts, establish trade routes, participate in 50 quests, and join different clans or interest groups.

Pioner Gameplay
Pioner is a first-person shooter MMORPG that has players take on mutated monsters and anomalies on a Soviet-era island. The game features a story campaign that unravels the mystery surrounding the catastrophe threatening lives.
Pioner has survival mechanics along with a host of activities such as PvE missions, PvP arenas, events, and mini-games like fishing and casino. There are 11 confirmed factions in the game for players to join, each with their own motivations, quests, and base of operations.
