On Your Tail Overview
On Your Tail is an adventure puzzle-game with simulation elements developed by Memorable Games and published by Humble Games. The title was initially planned to launch simultaneously for the PC and the Nintendo Switch on November 21, 2024, but was delayed to polish the game further. It is slated to come out for the PC on December 16, 2024, and on the Switch at around February 2025.
On Your Tail follows Diana, a writer who was recently rejected from a publishing deal for her latest piece of writing. Dejected, she books a vacation to the seaside village of Borgo Marina to unwind, relax, and find inspiration. However, as soon as she arrives, she is faced with a mystery concerning a thief who has been taking the villager’s items all over. She will now set aside some of her vacation time to piece together clues and solve the mystery of the thief. Using her investigative skills, she questions the villagers, observes the scenes of the crimes, and recreates said crimes in order to solve for the bigger picture.
However, she doesn’t forget why she came here in the first place, and regularly takes breaks by relaxing on the beach, spending time alone cooking and eating, or gazing at the stars at night.

On Your Tail Gameplay
On Your Tail is a 3D adventure life-simulation game interlaced with puzzle elements. Players will follow Diana as she explores the town of Borgo Marina to meet with the locals who will give her quests and information in exchange for help. She can also go to the crime scenes and use her magical device, the ‘chronolens,’ to spot peculiar and interesting clues that will serve useful to figuring out the misdeed. After gathering enough clues, the players are transported into a 3d diorama of the crime scene and must recreate the order of events through placing and arranging cards. Helping Diana accurately deduce the recreation of events, and she will be one step closer to cracking the village-wide case of the thief.
However, she mustn't spend all her vacation solving mysteries, as she can pause her investigations and relax, sunbathe, and play marbles by the beach, dip into the pool, fish in the ocean, prep and cook herself a meal, spend hours in the arcade, or connecting constellations of the stars at night.
