Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection Overview
Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection is a compilation released in 2026 that brings together the complete Star Force subseries of the long-running Mega Man franchise. Developed and published by Capcom, the collection contains all three main entries of the Mega Man Star Force series that were originally released for the Nintendo DS between 2006 and 2008. This includes variants, totaling seven playable titles.
This collection offers the quintessential and improved Mega Man action RPG and deckbuilder experience along with enhanced visuals, competitive online matches, and full access to previously time-limited Bonus Cards. It will be released on March 27, 2026 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection Gameplay
Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection has players explore its areas in isometric view. Here, players move through various environments and access the Wave World, a parallel network of electromagnetic pathways. During exploration, encounters with viruses may occur, which then transitions the game into its 3x5 grid arenas.
During battles, players are limited to moving left or right along the front row. Attacks rely on collectible Battle Cards that players organize into a Folder (or deck). A gauge gradually fills during battles; once full, it allows the player to draw a random selection of cards from the folder and choose which ones to activate. Cards vary in type, power, and rarity, and some can be combined for more powerful attacks. However, players can also make use of Mega Man's Mega Buster to defeat opponents.
The Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection will include online competitive play along with online card trading.
