Echoes of Aincrad: Sword Art Online (officially known as simply Echoes of Aincrad) is an upcoming action RPG title by developer Game Studio Inc. and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, set in the world of Sword Art Online, but this time, players write their own story, their own histories. In the world of a floating castle called Aincrad where beauty and danger blend together seamlessly, it is the fight of survival against thousands of other lost souls, to one day conquer the very world.

Echoes of Aincrad: Sword Art Online Gameplay
Echoes of Aincrad is an action RPG that makes use of real-time combat, appearing to be similar in scope to Monster Hunter Wilds. Players will be able to use a variety of weapons, attributes, and special skills to match their playstyles as they grow stronger and take on harder challenges. NPC companions will also ally themselves with the protagonist, each with their own set of unique abilities.
As a tale made by and for players, they are free to customize and reimagine their own protagonists through extensive avatar customization systems and choose their own battles, exploring the expansive world of Aincrad.
