What Are Klues in Mortal Kombat 1’s Invasion Mode?
Klues are word puzzles that give you hints on what kind of actions you should take during battles within Mortal Kombat 1’s Invasion Mode. In Invasion Mode, you move on a game board-like map, where you stop at nodes that feature all sorts of challenges ranging from normal battles to "Test Your Might" mini-games. As you progress through these nodes, you will gain rewards, such as consumable items, new skins for your characters, and even new Kameo Fighters (your character’s backup during battles).
But certain nodes will not let you progress unless you fulfill their conditions. The Klues that show up on top of the name of the node will guide you to what you should do. Once you’ve fulfilled these conditions, you will be able to pass through the node and reach a chest that has randomized loot.

All Invasion Klue Solutions
ESDORYT TEH DWLOR (DESTROY THE WORLD)
Pick Cyrax as your Kameo Fighter, then use his Annihilation fatality to finish off your opponent.
TOASTY!!!
Finish off your opponent with Kameo Scorpion’s fatality.
AMNISLTA4 (TALISMAN4)
Get a Talisman with four gem slots. Once you have it, equip the item and use it at least four times during battle.
DADAERHT (THREADED)
"Threaded" pertains to the Netherrealm demon Ashrah’s second fatality, Threads of Fate, which wraps her opponent in a glowing thread before pulling on it, slicing them into pieces. Use this fatality to finish your enemy off.
FLIPPING OUT
This Klue can be solved by simply changing your stance 25 to 30 times during a match. Use the Left Trigger or L2 button to do this.
BRUTAL WAYS
Use the Orderrealmer Havik during the match and inflict any of his fatalities on your opponent.
ANOTHER TEST SUBJECT
When you see this Klue, it means you should use the sorcerer Shang Tsung as your fighter. Finish off your opponent with one of his fatalities.
NOMED RENNI (INNER DEMON)
Choose Sareena as your Kameo Fighter and use her Fatality, which will have her open up your opponent’s chest and take their heart.
ERTECA AOSCH (CREATE CHAOS)
Just like with the BRUTAL WAYS clue, choose Havik as your character and have him do any of his fatalities on an opponent.
KCIRT TAH (HAT TRICK)
Remember the Shaolin fighter Kung Lao? The one with the bladed hat? Finish off your opponent with his fatality, where he puts that hat to gruesomely good use.
QUACKX10
To solve this Klue, you need to duck at least 10 times during a match.
ELEMENT THAT BRINGS LIFE
What element brings life? Water, of course. So which Mortal Kombat fighter is most associated with water? That’s right - it’s Rain, the Outworld magician. Use his fatality, where he shows that water can be used to bring death as well.
