WWE 2K24 Gameplay

A Variety of Match Types

In WWE 2K24, players control professional wrestlers and input commands to perform striking, grappling, running, and aerial moves. Moves can be chained to form combinations, and include a wrestler's Signature move and Finisher move. WWE 2K24 features a career mode called MyRISE where players can use their own created wrestler and complete original storylines which sees them rise through the ranks of the WWE roster to achieve superstardom.

Players can compete in a variety of match types incuding classic showdowns set to professional wrestling rules. Matches are typically won by either pinning or submitting opponents. In special stipulation matches, various foreign objects such as steel chairs, ladders, and tables can be used on opponents.

Other match types feature Guest Referee where players officiate the match; Casket matches where players must successfully place the opponent in a casket and shut the lid; Ambulance matches, where players must incapacitate the opponent, place them into an ambulance, and send them to a local medical facility; and Gauntlet matches, where players must consecutively face opponents one-by-one.

WWE 2K24 Story

Two Original MyRise Storylines

WWE 2K24's career mode, called MyRise, fetures two distinct storylines for created Female and Male superstars. The original female wrestler route involves a budding female indie wrestler working her way from the ground up in the independent promotion to next-level superstardom in the WWE. The original male wrestler route involves a male WWE superstar vying for the top championship in the wake of Roman Reigns' departure. The game also features the 2K Showcase of the Immortals, a series of the 21 playable Wrestlemania matches that also allow to relive the events’ most unforgettable stories and historical career-defining moments.
