Warriors: Abyss Gameplay
Fast-Paced and Flashy Roguelite Hack 'n' Slash Combat
In Warriors: Abyss, players must fight their way through endless hordes of enemies in battles set in top-down, procedurally generated dungeons. It blends traditional hack-and-slash gameplay with roguelite elements, and features fast-paced action-packed combat.
Players can perform a mix of regular attacks, combos, and special abilities to defeat enemies, while strategizing around their team setup. As the game features procedurally generated levels, each playthrough will consist of different enemy layouts, including bosses, and environmental elements such as traps. Failing and dying in playthroughs, however, means starting over each time. As progress is made in the game, more new abilities and upgrades for warriors can be unlocked.
Collecting Over 100 Heroes
Players assemble a party from over 100 heroes each possessing unique abilities, stats, and playstyles, and are unlocked as players advance through the game. The game introduces a "Summoning Heroes" feature which allows players to summon additional ally heroes during combat.
With these heroes, players form teams based on hero synergy and different combinations of character builds and playstyles. Collect power-ups, resources, and various items to level up each hero.
Warriors: Abyss Story Plot
In Warriors: Abyss, souls of heroes find themselves summoned to the underworld. Enma, a boy who rules over the underworld, informs you of an ancient evil entity, simply known as Gouma, that has taken over and corrupted everything in its wake. At the request of Enma, players must dive in the underworld abyss to defeat Gouma's forces and vanquish the ancient evil entity once and for all.
