Update - February 28, 2024
After putting out a demo for Steam Next Fest last February, the devs have made the difficult decision to stop development of Wakerunners. They stated that their "goal was to showcase the unique color and fun of Wakerunners, but we realized that significant improvements were needed to achieve the level of quality and enjoyment we envisioned."
In the end, they decided to close the project instead of continuing it instead.
