Vindictus Defying Fate Gameplay
Vindictus Defying Fate is a third-person action RPG based on the 2010 MMORPG Vindictus, that removes the MMO aspect entirely. Based on pre-alpha test footage, the game takes the fast pace from the previous game and also takes notes from other games in the genre, specifically souls-likes. There were two different characters available in the pre-alpha namely: Fiona, a fighter who uses a sword and shield, and Lann, a warrior who wields dual swords.
New Region: Ainle
The Vindictus Official Twitter(X) has been regularly posting updates on the game, with one of them showcasing a completely new region of Ainle. It's described as a dark, eerie, and ominous forest area that's home to numerous goblins that are described to be insane and far from being "rational."
Work-In-Progress Art
Additionally, the devs have also posted a work-in-progress art for several characters like the aforementioned goblins, the Blood Lord, and a couple of NPCs named Aodhan and Gwynn. The Blood Lord is a returning enemy from the original game who has been reinterpreted for the new game and is seemingly the area boss for Ainle.
