Ultros Story Plot
You are Ouji, a sojourner who crash lands into The Sarcophagus, ending up stranded. Those who find themselves in there end up becoming trapped in an eternal loop of a black hole. This could be very well caused by the ancient demonic being known as ULTROS, which lurks within the cosmic uterus, which is The Sarcophagus. On your travels to survey the area and seek refuge, you’ll meet the inhabitants, who will offer you guidance in accepting your faith.
It will be up to you whether you wish to break out of the cycle or relinquish your freedom and be part of the evergoing link from destruction to rebirth.
Ultros Gameplay
Ultros is a 2D platformer Metroidvania with amazing psychedelic visuals. You’ll find yourself traversing through a multitude of environments in stunning vivid colors. Occasionally, some helpful allies will help you along your way
Ultros has strategic combat, where attacking and dodging at precise moments are key. So far, it seems like you will only be able to perform melee attacks in various combos, but we haven’t seen everything yet. Normal monsters might seem like easy fodder but watch out for big and terrifying boss battles that will surely keep you on your toes.
Ultros looks to feature a skill tree to unlock new moves and combo routes in combat, opening up for more frenetic psychedelic action within The Sarcophagus!
