The story begins with In the Beginning, a new chapter that is described as exploring the Simulation's origins and its first critical challenges. Players experience events that lay the foundation for the Simulation's purpose while uncovering Alexandra Drennan's role as its orchestrator. Additionally, The Road to Gehenna expansion takes players to a hidden part of the Simulation, where Elohim assigns a new AI the mission of locating and aiding trapped consciousnesses.
