Stella Sora Gameplay
Stella Sora is an action RPG with reverse bullet hell and roguelike elements. Players take control of Trekkers as they ascend the floors of the massive Monoliths and claim the Artifacts inside.
Trekkers can be obtained through the game's gacha system, and can be equipped with Discs that provide team-wide buffs and Harmony skills. Each Trekker has their own distinct personalities, skill sets, and elemental affinities.
These Trekkers can also be interacted to raise their Bonds, granting further strength and a deeper look into their narrative. Bonds can be deepend through various in-game features such as messaging them or progressing in the game.
Meanwhile, Monoliths feature randomized runs where each ascent is unique, giving randomized perks and choices that iad players in climbing the tower. After a successful Monolith run,players can save the resulting powerful build (Trekkers, chosen perks, and gear setup) as a "Record", which can then be utilized for other challenging game modes.
Stages culminate in boss fights with unique mechanics, stimulating the need for players to experiment with their strategies and lineups. There are also challenge game modes, namely Intense Duels, Bullet Hell stages, and Limitless Battles, that test the players' skills, granting further rewards and perks.
Stella Sora Story Plot
In the fantasy realm of Nova, you take on the mantle of the Tyrant—a name both revered and feared across the ages. A thousand years have passed, but the weight of your title endures. With your glorious return, your choices will shape not just your path but the world itself that still trembles at your name. What will you uncover, and what will you become? As you forge your path, you will search for the truth—secrets buried in forgotten history, and the lost fragments of your own memories.
The story is set in the land of Nova, a cross-shaped continent of prosperity surrounded by the sea. At its heart stand the Monoliths, ancient towers believed to be divine gifts from the Gods. These structures contain artifacts of technology and culture far beyond Nova's time, yet they are as dangerous as they are miraculous. To many, they are symbols of celestial favor; to others, they are a reminder that divine blessings often come at a cost.
To retrieve these artifacts, Trekkers, outcasts in the eyes of society, have taken it upon themselves to scale the Monoliths. These futuristic treasures, capable of redefining the very fabric of life, are coveted by the rich and powerful but accessible only through the Trekkers' daring efforts. And you, as the Tyrant, will inevitably step in to claim these items as your own.
