Rebellion GODSOUL: Awakening is a JRPG visual novel featuring a team-based RPG card battle system. Players enter the Abyss, engaging in dungeon runs while strategically configuring their decks.
The game introduces Linkers—manifestations of resonance materialized as powerful beings in the form of girls. With over 30+ Linkers available, players can build and customize their teams to suit different combat strategies.
Additionally, the game features a relationship system where players interact with Resonant Rebel Girls, each with their own storylines and CGs. The main characters include Kami, Lincy, Hoshimu, and Moonshadow, each playing a key role in the unfolding narrative.
Rebellion GODSOUL: Awakening Story Plot
Set in the year 20X1, Dream City is ruled by giant corporations that monopolize the internet and AI, slowly stripping away the freedom and leisure of its citizens. Under the control of mysterious forces, society becomes increasingly oppressive—until a group of rebellious youth begins to Awaken.
These rebels possess the ability to harness God Soul, a unique power that allows them to resist the system and fight for their lost freedom. Players take on the role of a high school otaku passionate about AI, joining forces with a group of rebellious girls. As they battle against the city's authoritarian rule, they will forge deep connections, strengthen their bonds, and uncover the truth behind God Soul.
