Mouthwashing Gameplay

Mouthwashing is a first-person story-driven interactive point-and-click game, where the players control their character and explore various environments in different timelines and piece together items, puzzles, and clues to uncover the mysteries surrounding the crew and the freighter spaceship, the Tulpar. Players must collect items strewn across the environments, and must utilize them accordingly when the situation comes to it. Such interactions range from using an axe to chip away at something, combining ingredients to prepare food, and scanning for hidden passcodes.

Mouthwashing Story

Mouthwashing is a psychological horror story of the stranded crew of the Tulpar, employed by the delivery company Pony Express. Curly, the captain, has been gravely injured by the crash landing, leaving him in a barely functional state with bandages from head to toe and a sole functional eye. The ship nurse Anya takes it upon herself to feed him painkillers every day in order to keep him alive until the crew gets rescued. Jimmy, the ship’s co-captain, declares himself to be the interim captain in charge of all tasks aboard the ship. Swansea, the technician, continually works on working on the ship’s utility room which houses their cryopods, allowing them to survive longer. Lastly, Daisuke is a young intern suddenly made to join the crew to gain job experience working under Swansea.

The five crewmembers struggle to survive on a six-month supply of oxygen, but their rapidly dwindling supply is the least of their problems as conflicts between them all arise throughout the narrative.
