Momodora: Moonlit Farewell recounts the tale of the greatest calamity to ever befall Koho Village. One day, as the village was minding its everyday routine, an ominous toll of a bell was heard throughout the streets. Soon after, a demon invasion was set upon them.
The village matriarch sends Momo Reinol, their most accomplished priestess, to investigate the bell and find the bellringer who is summoning demons. In addition to securing the village's safety and, most importantly, the holy Lun Tree—which provides Koho with life and healing—they hope to apprehend the culprit.
Momodora: Moonlit Farewell Gameplay
Momodora: Moonlit Farewell is an action platformer where players are given the reins to Momo, an accomplished and decorated priestess of Koho Village. While there seems to be no weapon variety besides Momo’s blade (a maple leaf) and bow, the game does feature a "Sigil" system which will allow the player to customize their gameplay and specializations.
Levels are vast and rich with lore. Exploration, as with many games of similar genres, is encouraged, and each boss battle is a test of one’s skills and adaptability. And just in case players hit a difficulty wall, the game allows them to freely adjust the difficulty levels.
