ILL Gameplay

The gameplay of ILL blends frantic and methodical approaches, offering gunplay with a visceral edge. You’ll wield a heavy revolver and other firearms, but ammo is scarce and not every enemy, or Aberration, can be killed. There are moments where you will be powerless, forced to hide or run.
Physics-driven environments play a major role: shoot explosive barrels and watch rooms collapse, crates tumble, and alien beasts flail amidst the debris, all things to be used during combat and when solving puzzles. The advanced dismemberment mechanics let you tear apart creatures—bones, exposed organs, limbs—adding both spectacle and strategic carnage.

Enemies are unpredictable, unexpectedly reacting to your actions and behaving in disturbingly human-like ways. The binaural audio system will immerse you further, with every scream feeling more visceral than the last.
ILL Story Plot

ILL takes place in a decrepit research fort that seeminlgy creates grotesque monsters called Aberrations—fused human‑like horrors that crawl through dim industrial corridors. The narrative unfolds as the main character explores this industrial nightmare to save what’s most precious to them, uncovering the fall of a once‑secret facility and the experiments that had gone terribly wrong.
The story weaves tension through its setting—claustrophobic rooms, wide labs—each heartbeat echoing dread. With a cinematic flair drawn from Team Clout’s film industry experience (Longlegs, Until Dawn, V/H/S/Beyond), the plot is delivered through atmospheric environmental storytelling and escalating horror—forcing you to confront not only physical threats, but the unsettling why behind this descent into chaos.
