FEROCIOUS Gameplay

FEROCIOUS plays as a first-person survival shooter, but it is also a game built around scavenging for resources and exploration. The player moves through varied island biomes to locate crafting materials and upgrade materials while managing health and inventory space. Exploration often requires interacting with containers, terminals, and locked gates to progress through encounter zones.
Weapons include primary and secondary guns, throwables (grenades and spears), and melee alternatives; players can mount attachments and toggle akimbo on certain weapons, and aiming down sights is supported for precision fire. Enemies range from human mercenaries to wildlife and large dinosaurs, which require different approaches.
One of the game’s innovations is the DIno Control Device, which lets the player scan, command, and—in some cases—ride dinosaurs to perform tasks beyond shooting. It enables issuing orders that can redirect packs to attack enemy positions and have a creature retrieve or open paths. The game limits how many dinosaurs can be controlled at once.
Because resources are limited and the island’s ecosystem remains volatile, players must plan carefully, whether to engage directly in firefights, attempt to dominate the wildlife for their own ends, or stealthily navigate around threats.
FEROCIOUS Story

FEROCIOUS begins with the player‑character washing ashore on an uncharted island after a shipwreck in the Pacific. The island, however, is far from empty; it hosts both prehistoric creatures (dinosaurs) and human mercenaries employed by a private military company called Manifesto, which seems to harbor dark intentions.
As the protagonist explores the island, they must find and rescue a missing brother. However, survival quickly becomes a matter of navigating the harsh dual threats posed by both mercenaries and the island’s wild, including dinosaurs of various sizes and danger levels.
