F1 24 is a sim racing game that offers players different challenges. The Driver Career mode allows players to take on the role of an existing F1 driver, revive the legacy of a past legend, or start as a rookie building their own reputation. Players controlling real drivers can expand on their in-game stats and compete to create an alternate history, while newcomers must work their way through the ranks to establish themselves.
The game introduces a driver Accolades system, which tracks achievements both on and off the track, contributing to overall progression. F1 24 is a sim racing game where players can either play as: one of the 20 current F1 drivers, F2 drivers trying to climb up ranks, or even as previous legendary names in the sport. In Driver Career mode, players can either approach a team or be approached by one of the teams based on their accolades, on-track achievements, rivalries, and relationships within the sport at the end of each season or even mid-season.
In MyTeam mode, aside from being the driver, players also take on the role of team principal, orchestrating negotiations from the other side of the table. With the end of the season heralding a flurry of bidding wars for coveted drivers, players must outmaneuver rival teams to secure the talents they need to propel their own team to glory.
