Dynamite Blue Gameplay
Dynamite Blue is a collection-based RPG with turn-based combat and idle progression. According to the developers at Dynamite Blue (formerly of the Exos Heroes team), the gameplay is structured around "stylish pixel art battles" and a "casual cyberpunk world."
Mechanically, the game functions as a hero-collector (gacha) where players assemble squads of characters to participate in strategic combat. As per developer logs and prototype footage, characters are rendered as detailed pixel art chibi sprites during combat. Each unit possesses a unique kit, including specialized skills and cinematic ultimate abilities.
Outside of combat, the game is described as having an "AFK progression," which could mean players can accumulate resources, experience, and in-game currency over time without constant manual input.
Dynamite Blue Story
Not much is currently known about the game. The developers have primarily defined the game’s story through its "casual cyberpunk world." This setting is described by the developers as an "urban aesthetic that actually looks urban." They did, however, confirm that the game’s story "doesn’t take itself too seriously."
Carrying the lessons learned from the shutdown of Exos Heroes, the developers said that the story will focus on character-driven arcs, where every ero is designed with a "reason to exist in the world."
