Depersonalization Gameplay

As the Star Key, players will play through several chapters or Modules as an investigator, tackling different cases and events unique to each Module. As the assigned detective, there will be clues to be collected in various ways—usually through exploration, rolling dice, triggering events, and turn-based combat, eventually leading one to the truth (or…distancing themselves away from it.)
Do what a budding detective must do to get to the conclusion one wants—play it nice and civil, or even delve into more heinous ways of getting information like bribery, thievery, or buttering up the right people. All actions have their own consequences and branching story line…choose wisely.
Each Module includes multiple endings, and a myriad of collectibles to find and discover, such as character traits to add or enhance the player character’s special abilities, magic spells for battle, and Mythos items that bring about extraordinary power-ups. Throughout the game, players will encounter many different characters with their own storylines, and may even become trusted companions that are able to bring into combat as allies.
Depersonalization Story Plot

These Modules are all part of a timeless library situated beyond the river of time, all of which bear shattered timelines. The Star Key, the creation of Yog-Sothoth and the manifestation of Her will, is tasked with mending these broken eras and breathing in new life. Each of these Modules have their own plot and issues, waiting to be discovered and fixed.
Currently, the game officially has 7 total Modules, namely:
⚫︎ The One in All
⚫︎ Lies and Frauds
⚫︎ Soladnit
⚫︎ Welcome to Townsend
⚫︎ Moonshade Monolith
⚫︎ Far Hope Park
⚫︎ Cursenday’s Black Carnival
Additionally, players can even play or freely create their own Modules, which can then be uploaded onto the Workshop for other fellow Star Keys to play.
