Crimson Desert Story Plot

Crimson Desert centers around Kliff, the rugged warrior leader of the GreyManes Free Company, a band of warriors on a noble quest. Their uphill task ahead of them lies in the cruel and savage lands of Pywel, where plains, winter forests, hay fields, mountains, and deserts teeming with enemies dwell.

Follow Kliff and the Greymanes as they embark on a realistic and unforgettable journey full of hardships, camaraderie, and violence.

Crimson Desert Gameplay

Crimson Desert is a single-player open-world action-adventure game with gritty and grounded combat with fantasy elements. Set in a medieval setting, you will ride your horse to get across the wide fields and explore the vast scenic open wilderness–and you can even drift on it! Take on quests from the townspeople and gain rewards. You will also be able to fish for…well, fish! Speaking of animals, you’ll also be able to pet and pick up random animals you come across!

Of course, Crimson Desert’s most anticipated feature will be its very interesting and gruesome looking combat, where it looks to be a cross between Assassin’s Creed sneaking, crouching, and climbing, Final Fantasy 16’s combo-heavy action combat, as well as Monster Hunter’s weighted attacks and monster interactions!
