Creatures of Ava Story Plot
Welcome to Ava, a beautiful and vibrant world with majestic local fauna. The world is suffering from a recurring infection called "the withering." This strange infection has corrupted the wildlife of Ava, threatening the balance of the world’s ecosystems.
You play as Vic, a 22-year-old adventurer set on saving the animals and fighting the infection head-on. Vic uses her special flute to tame the corrupted animals, releasing them from the infection. Once these animals have been cured, they’ll return to their previous peaceful states. Travel through Ava’s vast and varied ecosystems and help out everyone and everything you encounter.
You’ll eventually gain a more meaningful connection with the world of Ava, and you’ll soon come to understand the infection on a deeper level. Solve the secrets of Ava and face Vic’s own troubled past.
Creatures of Ava Gameplay
Creatures of Ava features a stunning art style reminiscent of Jusant. Its gameplay reminds me of Palworld in the sense that it’s set in a world where humans and fantastical wildlife co-exist. However, I think that’s where the similarities end. Palworld has been dubbed by many as "Pokemon with guns" and features Pal battles, gunfights, Pal consumption, and forcing them to do your bidding.
Creatures of Ava couldn’t be more different, with a far more pacifistic approach. Your goal is to help these animals, and you’ll do so with the power of your magical flute, which cures the infected wildlife you encounter. Combat in this game is non-violent, and absolutely no animals are harmed in this game, making it perfect for animal lovers. Instead of fighting, hurting, and killing them, you’ll be healing them with your flute. Once you’ve helped them, they’ll willingly lend you their aid through your travels across the planet and help with helping other animals get better.
