Everything We Know About Blade Chimera
Blade Chimera Story Plot
Set in the near future, grotesque monsters and ghouls have appeared to swarm cities out of nowhere. Humans were forced to take up arms against these "demons" in an all-out Demon War. After thirty years of bloodshed, the surviving humans have all joined the Missa Association, a religious group headed by an individual who knows the secret to fighting against the demons.
Three years ago, a man known as Shin was rescued from the rubble, while he was in cryostasis. With no recollection of the past, he becomes one of Missa Association’s best warriors. However, when Shin encounters a bewitching demon named Lux, he feels a familiarity towards her, which led to him arresting her even against the wishes of the association.
Events that brought the city into its current state begin to unravel, revealing the past that Shin has long forgotten.
Blade Chimera Gameplay
The game is a pixelated 2D metroivania where you control Shin who wields the Lumina Sword, which is actually the demon Lux. The game uses Team Ladybug’s critically acclaimed animated pixel art, wherein you can see the detail in each and every frame.
